VP of Membership

Dear potential new members,

My name is Annika Kieper, and I have the privilege of serving as the Vice President of Membership for Delta Gamma this year! The Delta Sigma chapter of Delta Gamma is so excited that you are interested in Formal Recruitment here at Auburn University, and we cannot wait to meet each and every one of you!

I remember feeling overwhelmed as I approached Recruitment, but I strongly encourage you to find your home away from home in one of Auburn’s 18 Panhellenic chapters. Whether you are excited for this new adventure, or overwhelmed with nervousness, we hope that you will feel welcomed and encouraged to be yourself here at Delta Gamma.

Delta Gamma has provided me with a diverse community of women with varying interests, skills, and backgrounds. They inspire to me be the best version of myself as they work to carry out our motto, "Do Good," in everything they do. I am truly grateful for the friendships and positive experiences I have formed within Delta Gamma and in the Auburn Panhellenic community.

Please take more time to explore our website to learn about our sisterhood and involvement on Auburn’s campus.

Best wishes,

Annika Kieper

Hey Potential new members!

My name is Savanah Fowler and I have the pleasure of serving as Chaplain of Delta Gamma’s chapter at Auburn University. I remember the excitement, and the nerves of recruitment week like it was just yesterday. Recruitment is one of the most challenging, yet rewarding weeks of your life!

I am praying for each and every one of you! It’s really easy to get caught up in the newness of everything and the stressors of the week, but I pray that you find peace in knowing that you will end up exactly where the Lord wants you to be. I encourage y’all to find a time each day to breathe and find rest, but also remember to have fun because the week flies by with classes starting soon after!

No matter what happens, rest in the fact that you are so loved, and your letters do not define who you are. I wish each and every single one of you the best of luck, and I cannot wait to meet y’all.

An insight on the new member period for potential new members and their families.

Dear potential new member and their family,

Delta Gamma offers a rich heritage based on principles of personal integrity, personal responsibility and intellectual honesty. Your daughter is not only joining an organization thats primary purpose is to foster high ideals of friendship, promote educational and cultural interests, create a true sense of social responsibility and develop the finest qualities of character, but also joining an organization that will be an amazing part to her college experience here at Auburn University.

Once accepting a bid from Delta Gamma, your daughter will enter a six week new member period, where she is guided by our new member team and our new member committee. This period will entail weekly meetings to learn more about Delta Gamma, its history and chapter life at Auburn. Furthermore, new members will have the opportunity to participate in fun activities to meet other sisters and other members of the Greek community. Our new member committee consists of 20 sophomores who work with our new member team to ensure our new members have a smooth transition into Delta Gamma and at Auburn University. A group of 10-15 new members are assigned to a small group lead by a sophomore member. Not only does the committee attend the weekly new member meetings, but also hosts weekly dinners, bible studies, study groups and other activities to help create a strong friendship with our chapter’s newest members.

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact our new member team, which is listed below. They would be happy to answer any questions you or your family has about bid day, the new member period or the fraternity.

On behalf of Delta Gamma and the new member team, we welcome you to our amazing sisterhood!
