Dear Potential New Members,
I am so excited for you to start your college journey! My name is Caroline Heck, and I am so honored to serve as the Vice President of Membership for Auburn Delta Gamma. I cannot wait to meet each of you and share my love for Delta Gamma as you explore all our sisterhood offers. This role has been such a rewarding experience, and I am so excited to meet each and every one of you. I am incredibly grateful to be part of a sisterhood that has given me meaningful friendships, leadership opportunities, and memories that will last a lifetime. As an Event Management major, I have loved being able to pour my passion for planning and organization into preparing for this year’s recruitment season. It has allowed me to make even more friends and to get to know our chapter’s perspective even better.
Delta Gamma has poured so much more into me than I could ever ask for. The opportunities for leadership, the new friendships, and the constant support have truly shaped my college experience in the best way possible. It has challenged me to grow, pushed me outside of my comfort zone, and given me the confidence to become the person I am today. More than anything, it has given me a place where I feel valued and supported every single day. The women in this chapter have encouraged me, celebrated me, and stood by me through every high and low. I know the friendships I have made here are ones I will carry with me long after college. Delta Gamma is more than just a chapter to me, it is a home, a support system, and a group of women who have made such a lasting impact on my life
Everyone’s recruitment and college experience can be different, but it all works out the way it is supposed to. It can feel crazy at times, but that’s completely normal. Embrace the craziness, take it one step at a time, and remember that each conversation and interaction is helping you discover where you truly belong. Even in the moments that feel overwhelming, there is so much growth, excitement, and fun along the way, you’ll come out of it with memories and friendships that will last a lifetime.
I am so excited to meet you and watch as you find your place among the Panhellenic community. Delta Gamma has allowed me to find my biggest cheerleaders, lifelong friends, and the women who truly have made my college years even more meaningful. I am so happy you are here!
